Meet our Guest Speakers

Christine M. Psalms

Christine M. Psalms, born and raised in Washington DC, is a

passionate dancer, entrepreneur, and woman of faith. Despite

financial challenges, she began her formal dance training at

Spirit Wings Dance Company at age 10. Christine holds degrees

in dance and biblical studies, reflecting her dedication to both art

and spirituality. She has been married to Sean Psalms for over

25 years and is a mother of four.

In 2008, Christine founded Dancing For His Glory Studio and

Company, initially offering ballet instruction and later

expanding to various dance genres. Her faith in Jesus Christ has

guided her through numerous challenges, including the

COVID-19 pandemic. Over 15 years, she has made a significant

impact in the DMV area and internationally, teaching dance in

the Caribbean and collaborating with global dance

organizations.

Christine is also an author of three books and a Mompreneur

Business Coach, empowering mothers to pursue entrepreneurial

dreams. Her motto is to train dancers from the inside out,

emphasizing spiritual strength alongside technical skills.

Christine's life and work celebrate faith, artistry, and community.

Elizabeth Brooks

With over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry Elizabeth is a Certified NASM/AFAA Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. She holds certifications in TRX Training, Women's Health Specialist, Boxing and Kickboxing, Strength & Conditioning and Functional Movement Systems. Elizabeth is also a Health & Safety Instructor for The American Red Cross and is a passionate trainer and coach. Elizabeth believes that "Fitness Begins With Correct ThinkingTM” and has a vision to change the way individuals think about exercise. She is the producer and featured instructor of exercise DVDs and is regularly tapped as a talent for talks, tv lectures, demonstrations, magazine and newspaper articles (Featured regularly in The Washington Post, The Washingtonian, The Hill Rag, Self Magazine)

Yvette Johnson

Yvette Johnson is an Analytical/Forensic Chemist for the US Department of Justice with a tremendous passion for fitness. She is a Chemist by day and a Fitness guru by night. She has a lifetime of fitness experience, from running track, cross country, and gymnastics in middle and high school to obtaining certifications to teach group fitness classes and coach distance running. She taught fitness classes for over 30 years. She pursued distance running for 19 years. She ran 5 marathons, 7 half marathons, and 27 ten-milers. She is now learning the technics of Boxing after several years of taking Boxing Fitness classes. She enjoys a fitness challenge!
